Some love stories just make sense from the very beginning and Marcus and Nayelee have always been one of those couples
. A few months ago, Marcus quietly told us he was planning to propose. Only a very small circle of us knew, and I could hardly contain my excitement. I’ve always believed they were meant to be, but hearing that it was actually happening made it feel so real.He showed us the ring beautifully engraved, thoughtful, and absolutely perfect. Every detail reflected their love story. When he told us he wanted to propose during a trip to Puerto Rico, we didn’t hesitate for a second. “We’ll be there,” we said immediately.
The hardest part? Keeping it a secret.
Over the past few months, we’ve attended so many weddings together. So many conversations about love, venues and not once could we let it slip. Watching her not know while knowing it was already being planned so perfectly was both thrilling and incredibly difficult.
Then the day finally arrived.
Hidden between the mountains, on a secluded beach that felt like it belonged in a movie, Marcus created the dreamiest setting. The decor was absolutely stunning romantic, intimate, and intentional. Nayelee had always told him she wanted her engagement to be private between the two of them, with family secretly nearby, ready to witness the moment. And that’s exactly what he executed flawlessly.Makes you believe in love and how a man in love is unstoppable
Behind a small cluster of trees near the beach, family gathered quietly. I stood there too, camera in hand, heart racing. The golden hour light began to pour over the sand as the sun slowly dipped toward the horizon. It felt like time paused just for them.
And then it happened.
In the glow of that sunset, surrounded by ocean breeze ,Waves crashing and mountain views, he asked the question. Tears filled our eyes as we watched her reaction pure surprise, pure love, pure joy. When she said yes, it felt like the entire beach exhaled with happiness.
That was our cue.
We stepped out from behind the trees, cheering and celebrating. The look on her face when she realized we had all been there, witnessing, supporting, loving them from just a few feet away and most of us had traveled to watch them, and she had no idea as we all planned to not post anything to not raise any suspicion. It was unforgettable.
It was perfect in every way. The intimacy. The family. The emotion. The way the sunset wrapped around them like a blessing.
Being there to capture their love, to experience such a sacred and beautiful moment, was an honor I’ll never forget. They truly look like they stepped straight out of a romantic movie the kind you never want to end.
Marcus and Nayelee, this is just the beginning. I cannot wait for your wedding day. If your engagement was this magical, your forever is going to be extraordinary. 🤍
